Middle School Canine
Good Citizens Programs

Students in 6th – 8th grades will work with dogs that have been rescued from the shelter and train them with the basics dog obedience.  The dogs will then be adopted out to a responsible family in the community
Teen Motherhood
Education Program
This program will provide a educational service for pregnant teens.  The girls will have classes with a pregnant dog and learn about the responsibilities, changes and care of a newborn.  They will also assist in the birth and care of the puppies.
This program will pair up teens and dogs who will work as a team for search and rescue purposes.  This program is directed more towards high energy teens who respond better to a more physical approach to learning and development.
